Love the design.Flippy numbers are retro-cool.Clocks back in the day didn't actually look this way (I don't think) but it's a nice mash-up of old-timey feel with the flippy numbers.If you've ever been around a grandfather clock or a wind-up one, you'll know what I mean.It's loud.tick,tick,tick,tick of the mechanism every second.TICK, every minute.It's not that bad but if you were born in the post-digital area, the notion that a clock makes noise will likely be foreign. If you put this on your desk, you will hear it. If you put it on the other end of a 10-person dining room table, you will still hear it. Otherwise, very cool!Stated accuracy in the manual is 90secs per something---after seeing 90secs, it's pretty clear that you're not going to time a 50-meter sprint with this clock. Think decoration more than critical time piece. The accuracy is probably heavily dependent on the freshness of the battery.Buy it!

I bought this clock for my father. He absolutely loves it. It arrived super fast and in great condition. The clock keeps perfect time and it a great conversation piece. I'd recommend this to anyone.

I got this for my parents on christmas. Its been keeping time for more than a week has not lost a single minute. Works great and is a nice piece for the house. You can obviosuly hear the pages flipping but it has not disturbed anyone in my parent's bedroom.

This was a gift for my stepdaughter. She loves this clock. It's retro and goes with her furniture. Unique type of clock.

Gift for a family member. Kind of large so you need enough space for it. Not too loud when the numbers flip, but loud enough to spark the interest of our house pets.
