We considered spray painting them like our competitors, but powder coating is much more environmentally friendly compared to solvent based spray paints, and produces less hazardous by-products during production and through the whole lifecycle of the tools. Powder coated tools can also be easily recycled. Overall, powder coating is a more environmentally sustainable choice.The tool handles are made from solid wood, with the tool heads firmly screwed into each handle - so they're not going to dislodge easily.
